Torri Toggle

The other day I received my Torri Toggle for my iPhone! I am so obsessed with this adorable little gem. It is the perfect way to add a little sparkle to your everyday item and customize it according to your personal taste. I really like the ones that Torri sells because they are such high quality and really sparkle in the light!

I wish that my camera would catch how clear and pretty the toggle sparkles but in real life my gem looks a lot like a little disco ball. Its like a little party on my iPhone! I love it when it catches the light and makes pretty rainbows!

Check out Torri's Instgram and Storenvy for more of her creative products!
 {Currently wanting one of her customer license plate covers ;)}

Glam Glow Follow-Up

Recently I posted about my obsession with the GlamGlow SuperMud and how much I wanted to try it. Last weekend I finally made it to Sephora to get a sample and try it.

First of all I am going to go on a small tangent about how much I LOVE Sephora. I have the most amazing experiences with the customer service here and every employee is so helpful and knowledgeable. My last few visits have been so positive that I have been going here exclusively for any beauty products and questions. This is coming from a former MAC-aholic, where for years these were the sole products I would use. Recently though, I started feeling like the employees there were not really answering my questions and giving me the right products so I branched out to Sephora and I am so happy that I did.

So back to the products. When I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed any help and I mentioned my interest in the GlamGlow SuperMud. He brought me right to it and asked if I wanted a sample {which I did}. He gave me an overview of the product and asked if I was interested in skin care and anti-aging {which I was}. Then he provided me a sample of the most life changing product I have ever used.

Dermadoctor Physical Chemistry. I can't recommend this product enough. {seriously everyone go buy this!} I tried the Mud Mask first and was not all that impressed. My skin did not feel silky smooth and I didn't notice a huge difference in the pores or my skin. Two days later I tried the Physical Chemistry scrub. OMG. My skin was dull and breaking out a little before. After it was bright and smooth and soft! I actually saw a before and after difference after just ONE use. This is not usual for my skin. And the results last for days. It recommends use twice weekly which I have been following and I can seriously see the difference it has made.

I really encourage anyone looking for a multi-use product to invest in this! It clears, brightens, and also helps reduce the aging process! For only $5 more than the GlamGlow Mud I think this is well worth it.

Thank you Sephora man for helping me find the most amazing product in my life!

Go try it friends!

Suja 3 Day Cleanse

So today I started my 3 day Suja Juice Cleanse. I have been wanting to do a cleanse for awhile now and I found that this one not only looked delicious but was also one of the more affordable cleanses. I also found that it was less expensive to get a kit from Whole Foods, than it was to order it online.

I am not going to lie, today has been rough! Am I the only one who gets intense cravings for foods once I can't have them? All I could think about today was Chick-Fil-A. Why? I have no idea, I don't even eat it very often. But weird cleanse cravings.. beware they are a struggle to beat!

Overall the juices actually tasted pretty good! Some more than others but I think after the fuel one I was hangry {hungry + angry} so I wasn't really giving them a chance. I did really enjoy GLOW and GREEN SUPREME, they were both very refreshing!

I am so proud that I made it through today without cheating. Seriously around 1pm-3pm I was thinking of giving up, but I drank my juice and stuck with it! I will probably update again tomorrow with my progress.. Wish me luck everyone!

Current Obsessions

  1. Cookie Butter
  2. Black Tie Manicure
  3. Bellami Extensions
  4. Glam Glow Face Mask

So recently  I have been spending a lot of time scouring the internet, I mean taking great notes in class. I have come across some pretty amazing products that I am dying to try! One is Bellami Hair extensions I found through Cara Loren. {PS check her blog out its such an inspiration}.  Her extensions blend so well and from what I've read online everyone is loving the quality. I am in the market for some new hair so I might be ordering myself a pair soon!

Next up on my wishlist is the Glam Glow cleaning treatment mask. Wow, this stuff looks amazing. I have also been stalking beauty bloggers and there has been nothing but great reviews about this! Seems like the miracle clearing treatment. I plan on heading to Sephora this weekend and getting some for myself, I'll follow up with how I like it later on.

Two words. Cookie. Butter. It lives up to all the hype and if you haven't tried it yet you are seriously missing out. I've been eating it with cut up apples for "dessert" lately and I have already finished a jar to myself. So yah, go buy some.

And Finally, How adorable is this manicure?! Little suits I die. I wonder if my nail lady can do this with shellac?

Have a Great Week Everyone!

San Diego Fair

Its a yearly tradition to at least stop by the San Diego Fair once with my family. Its always so nostalgic walking through the exhibits, eating the food and of course seeing the hypnotist show. I love how all my favorite things are always in the same spots. This year in particular we spent most of our time eating our way through the fair
(sorry diet) .

Our favorite Australian Potatoes

Couldn't leave without one of these spectacular cinnamon rolls

See we did more than eat...

These floral exhibits are always a favorite of mine! So many beautiful colors and types of flowers.

Of Course we stopped for Ice Cream after..

Recipe Review: Banana Bread

When I noticed we had three bananas that were beyond our preference of eating, the first thing I thought of was I needed to make Banana Bread. This is by far the best banana bread I have ever had and I recommend this recipe to everyone! It is not only quick and easy but delicious and moist as well.

  2. 1 Cup of Sugar
  3. 2 Cups of Flour

  8. 1 Tsp of Nutmeg
  9. 1 Tsp Baking Soda
  10. 1 Tsp Baking Powder
  11. 1 Tsp Salt

Balboa Park Botanical Garden

This weekend I went to the Botanical Gardens in Balboa Park. It is truly such a beautiful place to walk around and take in all the sights. There are so many types of plants from shrubbery, orchids and even carnivorous plants! Although, I wish more of the flowers had indicator signs because I wanted to know what some of them were called. Either way, I could not think of a more relaxing way to spend my Saturday afternoon than wandering through all the bright flowers and taking in the simple beauty of the Botanical Garden.

There were so many flowers in different shades not normally seen, I couldn't help but love the deep burgundy of these orchids. (Orchids are what the gardens are known for, from what I have read.)

I found these signs in the touch & smell garden especially entertaining.

How adorable are these Polka Dot Plants!

These flowers were also interesting, they were as big as my hands!

Overall it is such a beautiful place, I recommend everyone goes and enjoys the simple beauty of the flowers on a warm sunny day!

Closet Inspiration

I can't be the only person here that walks into my closet and sees nothing to wear. And as you can see from the above picture that should not be a problem. I keep finding myself buying clothes but continuing to wear the same ones over and over.

And now here is my solution. I decided to turn all my hangers in my closet and clothing rack the opposite way (idea borrowed from pinterest) in order to really see what is going unworn in my closet!

I am really trying to use it as a tool to help me not only wear everything I own, but also challenge me to create new outfits with items I already have.

Lets hope this helps create some new outfits!

Spring Cleaning

So with the recent warm weather I have been inspired to clean up my life and get everything organized after the winter months. Beginning with something important to keep clean... Makeup Brushes!

This is something that I have vowed to try to do more regularly and recently have been consistently cleaning them whenever I see a build up of old makeup on them. This is not only more sanitary to do, but is also better for your skin! I have definitely noticed less breakouts after keeping my brushes clean (which I have to admit has not been a strong point of mine in the past, opps!)
Materials Needed:
~ Dish Soap
~ Extra Virgin Olive Oil
~ Towel
~ Old Small Plate (Note the cracked edges & elves lol )
~ Dirty Brushes

1. First place a drop of each soap and oil onto plate
2. Swirl brush around to get makeup off
3. Rinse Brush in lukewarm water
4. Repeat until Clean
5. Lay flat to dry on towel

Thats about it. Easy Peasy, right! :)
